Dr. Petros Tatoulis was born in 1953, at Kastri Arcadias.
He is a graduate of the Medical School at the University of Athens, and is specialized in General Surgery.
He had been elected in 1990, for the first time, in the Hellenic Parliament, as a representative of Arcadia with Nea Dimokratia, and since then he is continuously the leading political figure in his compatriots' electoral preference.
Among numerous parliamentarian activities he had been:
· Member of the Parliamentarian Committee for Economics, Education and Social issues.
· Member of the Parliamentarian Committee for Ecological issues.
· Member of the Parliamentarian Committee for the Cyprus' Question.
· Member of the Political Committee of Nea Dimokratia.
After the finalization of the recent general elections in Greece (7 March 2004) and the electoral winning of Nea Dimokratia, Dr. Tatoulis had been appointed by the Prime Minister of Greece, Dr. Kostas Karamanlis, as the Deputy Minister for Culture in the newly formed government.
Dr. Tatoulis is married with Dr. Sofia Loutsiou and he is the father of four children.
